Shanequa Henry Earns NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week Honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore guard Shanequa Henry has earned her first Player of the Week award for the season. She was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Nov. 1-7, 2021. She is the first Eastern women's basketball player to earn the distinction so far this season.

Henry is a sophomore guard from Texarkana, Texas. She is currently averaging 16.8 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from beyond the arc. Henry is also shooting 62.5 percent from the free-throw line so far this season.
