Madison Grogan Earns First NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week Honors of Season

Eastern Oklahoma State College freshman Madison Grogan has earned her first NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week award for the season.

Grogan is a left-handed pitcher from Talihina, Okla. In 16 appearances, she has pitched 38 innings with 43 strikeouts and a 1.11 earned-run average. She has allowed just 28 hits and 6 earned runs, while only giving up 12 walks so far this season. In Week 9, Grogan made four appearances, and earned two wins and one save. She posted eight strikeouts while only giving up eight hits and three walks over 11.1 innings.
