Kamden Thompson earns NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week honors

Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore Kamden Thompson has earned his first NJCAA Region 2 Pitcher of the Week award for the season. He is the second Eastern baseball player to earn the distinction so far this season.

Thompson is a right-handed pitcher from Bixby, Okla. In 11 appearances, he has pitched 40 innings with 22 strikeouts and a 4.50 earned-run average. He has allowed just 44 hits and 20 earned runs, while only giving up 14 walks so far this season.
